GVIT is one of the colleges with a research publication policy that encourages its faculty and students to publish papers in various national and international confereces / journals.

• A 3 member research committe is constituted to review the research activity of the candidates.
• Training / orientation sessions will be conducted from time to time to help the candidates in taking up research. 
• Total Registration Fee or Publication Charges will be paid if the paper gets accepted in a good conference/journal.
• The candidate should present the accepted paper in the internal Research Forum conducted every 15 days.
• The research committe will review the merit of the work / paper and will take decision about the payment of fee.
• A candidate can avail the re-imbursement of registration fee for a maximum of 2 times per academic year.
• OD (On Duty) leave can be availed by all candidates for participation in good conferences (Maximum of 4 per academic year).
